Mothering Sunday
11th March 2018
Mothering Sunday is a holiday celebrated by Christians in some parts of Europe. It falls on the fourth Sunday in Lent, exactly three weeks before Easter Day.

During the 16th century, people returned to their mother church, which was either the church where they were baptised, or the local parish church; now it has become an occasion for honouring mothers and giving them presents.

Join us for our special service at 10am where small bunches of flowers are available for people to give to their mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, aunts and even dads. Followed by refreshments in St Peter's House.

Everyone welcome.
